It's Friday!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I know I just posted last night and really haven't been up all that long to have much to say but I have time right now and I will not be here tomorrow to post as we will be at my sister's. I pray that we have a safe trip.

Can you believe that Christmas is in just ten days? I sort of had Christmas last night. Matthew went to work for an apartment complex and when he is assigned a unit where people have moved out, he has to go in and clean it and make a list of what needs to be done. If there is anything left in the apartment he gets to keep it.

So he brought me some goodies. Lots of cleaning supplies, a really nice shower shower hanger to hold shampoo's and stuff of that nature. I really needed it too because mine was too small and this one is metal and will not rust. I was happy with it.
There was a really nice stool and a wooden trash bin that is just right for the bathroom or by my desk or bed. A gorgeous floor lamp, 2 rugs, one for the kitchen and I put the other one by my bed. Brand new. Price tags still on them.
A nice surge protector card and a plant stand and that is just some of the items but what delighted me most were these canvas paintings of Artisan designs. So pretty and blue.

I did have one mishap. In the cleaning supplies was a jar of jewelry cleaner. I had several pieces of jewelry that had tarnished. I cleaned them and I loved the way that they are all nice and shiny now and I plan to wear them. But one of my necklaces, my favorite was not real. The chain was sterling silver, but the heart was silver plated. Well it is in between silver and pink now lol. Matt said "Aww Mom it wasn't real. I should have told you that when I gave it to you". It was a Christmas gift from about 6 years ago. Anyway it isn't that big of a deal as it actually turned out pretty with part of the silver showing, making it look antique.I use to wear it all the time but I took it off when I had to start having a lot of surgery and it started tarnishing. I hung it in the bathroom with my other necklaces. I will wear it now but I plan on wearing my mom's locket tomorrow when we go to my sister's house.

Cisco got a new toy from Jonathan last night when he stopped for dog food. They had these mix and match toys 2 for $5.00 and he got one for Cisco and put the other in for the animal shelters plus a bag of food. We always contribute to the animal shelters.
I think that after I get back from Florida I am going to buy some new towels and I will donate ours to the shelter as they are always needing them. They are not in really bad condition but I would like some new ones for the boys bathroom and for mine as well.

When Matt came over last night we picked out Christmas cards to send to Alex and Celeste. He chose a little pug wearing a stocking cap for Alex and a cardinal for Celeste. I chose a Gingerbread house for Celeste and a Santa for Alex. We will get them sent out today. So far no one has gotten their cards from me. It is so aggravating. I know that snail mail can't be this delayed. It makes me think that our postman is not doing his or her job. I mailed them out from the postal center here at the apartment complex.
I have only received two cards this year. One from my sister and one from Miss Edna. I use to get so many and now I hardly get any.

The dentist office called and my case is in. Problem is I cannot get there today and the next available appointment is 2 weeks away. I have to give the ride transportation 3 days notice and I can't just call on the spur of the moment. It would be great if I could. Jonathan is working on reports and is trying to train 4 new employee's. Karyn is put on case readings right now and can't take time off right now because they are not working any Saturdays for the rest of the month. She is on production. It is mandatory so they have to get it done and have a hard time taking off work to take me. If it is an important visit then they can, but not for minor things at the moment.
Jon's boss, her mom is at the end of life stage. What they call Twilight. Karyn's boss, her mom is not doing well right now either so they are both doing double duty so to speak.

Well I think that I am going to go back to bed. I just cant keep my eyes open at all. 3 cups of coffee later and I am still fighting to stay awake.
Have an awesome weekend everyone..  See you on Sunday.... BB

My Trip Down Memory Lane 2015

 Hi Everyone,
I am hoping that all is good with everyone today. I am fine other than tired for I am going back thru another phase of not sleeping again. When I do sleep I tend to sleep hard and deep and over sleep. I am staying away from naps so hopefully I can sleep some tonight. It is just me I figure. The house is quiet, their is no one blaring the television, no one in and out, (that being Cisco) and I am a night owl by nature.
When the kids were little they had their days and nights mixed up and since my husband was never home and off driving a truck, it was easy to let them be up and I would clean house or something and then we all went to bed and slept.
That changed when they started school, but summers and weekends and holidays still had me in the night owl stage. And then when I went back to work I did a lot of night work so it has just stuck. I love the nights. So there it is.

Patsy is in San Diego today. She left really early this morning and is going to spend the night at her friends house, plus she is planning to take flowers to her son's grave site and then visit with her grandchildren and visit her son Patrick as well as some Christmas shopping. I am going to miss her but it is alright. She will be back tomorrow night and we can catch up then.
We had a great laugh last night recalling her visit last October. It was an experience lol. I told her that I was going to blog about her visit. So I will.

Before we decided to move here into this apartment complex, Patsy and I had a few months to book and plan her trip out to see me. In case she couldn't make it, the ticket was non-refundable so we were determined that she was coming and she did.
We picked up the keys here on October 1st but I didn't actually get to move in here until October 3rd as we still had some packing and downsizing to do and not to mention we had to clean the other apartment. It was still hot. Even tho I had my bed here, no way could we stay without electricity and air. Too hot for all of us and they were not going to turn the electricity on until the 3rd. (That was another huge hassle as it was supposed to have been turned on on the first but we had to play by their rules and not ours.)

So Jonathan made several small trips back and forth getting our boxes moved over and then the Sunday October 2nd Karyn's friend Marcy brought her truck over and loaded all the big stuff. That gave me the rest of the time to clean the apartment. Jonathan took the next day, Monday off from work and helped me with all of the last minute things. He had to. I was just getting over having some surgery done and a bout of the flu so He did the bulk of the hard stuff and we kept 2 chairs so we would have a place to at least sit. The last load was finished by 5:00 pm. We loaded Cisco up and the two chairs, our cleaning supplies and off we went to our new apartment. Joey, Karyn, and Nathan put my bed together the night before.

Karyn and Jonathan traded out the car. Our electricity was still not on and Jonathan was ticked and kept calling the electric company until someone finally agreed to send someone out. He told them, my mom is disabled, a diabetic and it is hot as blazes and the woman actually told him "Well can't she get a hotel room for the night?" That did it. He said I want to talk to your supervisor now. She tried her best not to let him talk to her and he kept saying Supervisor now. She finally put her supervisor on the line. Jonathan made a formal complaint as the electricity was already supposed to be on. We didn't figure anyone would come out but Karyn and I left and went to our local supermarket H.E.B. and there I was able to get food for dinner that night and some drinks, and ice and I found a really pretty welcome present for Patsy. I found a pretty throw, and we bought her a couple of our specialty bags and filled it with a Cup from Austin, some special coffees, special sodas we have here and candy and other things. We didn't know if we would have electricity or not, but I got a bag of ice to keep my insulin cold and drinks and other foods just in case.

What a relief when we got back to see that we had lights... (Hooray!) and so Karyn and I had just enough time to make up my bed, fix Patsy's Welcome bag and to set out fresh towels. Oh we were like... No Hot Water! The gas company had not turned on our gas so we were upset over that but not much that we could do about that problem. We had to hurry up with the necessities because Karyn and I had to leave for the airport to meet Patsy's flight. Luckily we found good parking so that wasn't an issue. I didn't take my walker because not enough room for mine and hers so Karyn dropped me off at the entrance and I waited for her to park. We were early so we had time. But once we got inside they were pushing Patsy towards us in a wheel chair. She had her luggage and walker. We were like okay we will have to make some adjustments here but the attendant said "Oh I will push her to the car." So I took Patsy's walker, Karyn took her luggage and the attendant steered Patsy to our car and even loaded her luggage and helped her into the car.

We explained about the not having hot water until the next day but she was okay with that. We wanted to give her a view of the city as much as possible so of course we drove up to the State Capital and it was lit up beautifully. We asked if she was hungry when we picked her up but she said no but after we gave her a tour she said she was. We gave her choices and she spotted a What A Burger fast food place and said... There. I haven't been to one in ages. So we whipped in and had a wonderful time talking about her flight, our move and apologized about the unpacked boxes and so forth. She just laughed and said Oh we will just rough it.

By the time we got in Nathan was home from work and Jonathan had his bathroom in order with a shower curtain. Mine was thrown away because I had washed it and it didn't make it thru the laundry cycle. (Actually the dryer) as I had forgotten to turn the heat off when I put it in the dryer. Introductions were made and Cisco went crazy wanting her to pet him. Funny how he never barked or growled at her. We gave her the welcome bag, but Karyn didn't stay for that as it was late and she had to work the next day so she got us settled and went home. At that time she was living across town so she had Jonathan take her home.

The next day Patsy and I got up pretty early and had coffee and girl talk. It was just us. We had made all these plans but we caught hell from Jonathan as he said it was not safe for 2 disabled women to catch a bus and leave for site seeing. We tried to argue our way out of it but when Patsy talked to her husband he agreed with Jonathan so we had to change our plans. We have what is called a "Silver Alert" here for missing elderly or disabled people and Jonathan threatened then and still does to put out Silver Alerts on us if we took off to far from home. We assured him we would not go far. Besides I had to wait for the gas company to show up and turn on our gas and they had to come into the house to get to the water heater.
As soon as he left and we had some hot water it was shower time. Patsy had hers first and I took the time to sort of unpack some kitchen stuff and then I had mine and we walked over to The Brooklyn Pie Company and had lunch. We split a chicken strips with wedge fries and she ordered an artichoke and spinach dip. It was so good. I am a spinach lover but not so fond of artichokes but that dip was pretty darn delish.

We went next door to Walgreen's and looked around and by that time we were both getting tired. It was either walk and walk all the way to the front entrance and back all the way to the end or call a cab. We called a cab and it was not even $3.00 home so I gave him a $5.00 bill and we were happy to rest. In fact we both took a nap.
Jonathan came in a little after 5:00 pm and asked if Pizza was okay for the night. We assured him it was. He put it on and the next thing that we knew the smoke detectors were going off and Patsy and I rushed to the kitchen and Jonathan was beating the pizza with a towel because it was in flames.... What Happened? I told Jonathan that pizza had not been in the oven long enough to even be done. We opened windows and doors while he managed to get the smoke detectors to stop going off.
We looked at the burned Pizza and we checked the oven dials and I told him that we were going to have to cook the pizza's at a lower temp. So off to the store again for Pizza. This time we cooked it at 350 degrees. Same darn thing happened. Not only did the pizza not get done but it was black on the bottom so we were just looking at each other wondering what we were going for dinner.
Jonathan said get in the car and he took us to a little place.  We had something but I cannot remember now what it was but it took care of our hunger. The next day the maintenance man came and put in a part.  I cooked a pan of cornbread for Patsy and it burned. So I was totally upset, but she ate the top and enjoyed it but I was so upset so I called the office and they came back out and put in a new regulator. Yay my oven finally worked.
We didn't do anymore cooking here at home the rest of her visit until the night before she left to catch her flight home. It was a party of sorts. For my birthday and for her going back home.
The boys cooked these steaks out on the grill and they were delicious. Karyn made corn on the cob, a big salad and mashed potatoes. Then she drug out the cake. Yum, German Chocolate, but I of course couldn't eat it because of the nuts, but I had a bite of the inside. It was too rich for me. Or it could have been that I was just satisfied by the meal.

Patsy and I knew before hand that this was mainly just a hang out and do not much of anything visit. I really enjoyed having her and last night we just laughed about all the things that happened on her visit.

We snacked for lunch, sandwiches and soup or left over's from some of the places we ate. We went to Baby A's for Mexican food one night. While we were there I couldn't stand the smell. They seated us in the back and it was over whelming with the smell of sewer. I was the only one that could smell it and it made me so nausea's that Karyn brought me home. Jonathan, Nathan, Patsy stayed and of course Karyn went back. They brought my dinner home to me but I didn't eat it. Patsy and I split it the next day for lunch.

Patsy ordering the Spinach and Artichoke dip! Oh Yum...

The waitress taking our photo as we waited for our food at The Brooklyn Pie Company.

The first night Patsy was here. We were planning on going to sleep but we ended up just talking and talking and talking. She took this selfie of us.

Me and Foxy waiting for Karyn to add the finishing touches to our dinner and the boys to finish grilling our steaks.... The last night Patsy stayed before her flight back home the next day.

Anyway that is my run down on a trip from Memory Lane. It was a good visit and I hope that we continue to see each other at least for another visit.

On to some other news. I just got off the phone with my sister Susie. It looks like they will have Daniel's dad's funeral service on Sunday so he and my niece and the girls are planning on coming to our Christmas gathering.

My nephew Rusty and his family isn't going to be able to make it after all. I understand tho because they are having to come all the way from New Orleans, Louisiana and then try to make the trip the next week for Christmas so it would be to hard on him and the kids and his wife to make the trip, but my other nephew Eddie and the kids will be there. Amy has to work, his wife but she might stop by on her way home from work, but she has a bit of a long drive home, so not sure if we will see her or not, but at least I will see my nephew Eddie and my great nieces and nephews.  I wish that my Brandy could come but she is in Tennessee so that would be a very long drive for her. Maybe she will be able to come Easter.

Matthew is on his way over, he has some things for me so I guess I will go for now and try and take care of a couple of things before he gets here. I just spoke to Jonathan and he seems to be in a bad mood so I am just about ready to smack him. I called to remind him to pick up Cisco some food and he bit my head off. So I am going to have a talk with him when he walks in the door. I am sorry he has had a bad day but that has nothing to do with me.
So I will add that and a smack to my to do list... Have a great day on Friday..... Hugs to all... BB

I like Wednesdays (Most Of The Time)

 Hi everyone,
This is my great niece Alissa. She is a huge Texas Long Horn fan and I love these photos of her. They were taken several years ago in her back yard. Her mom took pictures of her so I scrapped them.

This is her now, this past Valentines Day. She looks so much like her mama in this picture. She is the one that was in the bad motorcycle wreck with her dad Daniel. She is doing really well and they are working on restoring that beautiful smile.

Normally my sister Susie puts on this huge Christmas party every year. She cooks and cooks and cooks and we all clean and clean and clean. This year she decided that she is not cooking and using her good dishes. We are doing paper plates and plastic utensils and cups and napkins and it is Pot Luck... no fuss. This is a time that we are just going to enjoy each other as a family.

My nephew always asks me to make my Frito Salad for holidays, but this year I am just going to get one of those huge Stouffer Lasagna's and let it thaw the night before and when we get to her house I can toss it in the oven along with some garlic bread.

It will have plenty of time to thaw as it will be a 4 hour drive. Just Matthew and I are going. She wants us to spend the night but we are just going to leave here early and leave around 6:00 pm or so because Matt needs a day to do some things on Sunday before he has to go to work again on Monday. I am really looking forward to going. I have missed the last 3 years so I am excited about seeing all of my family. And I hope all of my pictures turn out.

I really need to invest in a camera. It doesn't have to be fancy but something better than what I have now. But right now all my extra money (yeah haha) is being saved for Florida. I want to be able to get some new things while I am there. I really loved the flea markets last year. So I want to make sure that I have a little money set aside for a few things.

The last time that I saw most of  my family was at my brother's funeral so it was not a joyful occasion. And of course not everyone brought the kids. I know that someone in the family will bring Alissa and Kennah with them. I don't think that the girls parents will make it. Their dad Daniel, his father passed away on Monday unexpectedly so they may have to be with his family. We don't know yet what plans have been made.

I had a very sleepless night last night. I ended up at 10:00 pm taking a shower. I just felt so sticky and so hot. I made some chamomile tea with lavender and that helped to relax me and I was able to rest some.
I did look at my phone for the news to see who won the Alabama Senate race. I am not saying I am a democrat or a republican as good people work hard on both sides and I usually choose who I think is the best person for the job. Anyway I was glad to see Doug Jones win. I know that it is a blow to President Trump, but Roy Moore gave me the creeps. I usually don't post anything political on my blog but today is an exception. Not that I have a say as I am not from Alabama!

Well I guess this wraps it up for me today. I have a few things that I need to do and I better get started on that. Have a awesome day to all...  BB

A Christmas Layout 2017

Wishing Everyone A Wonderful Holiday Season

 Hi everyone,
Well it is a gorgeous day here. Not to hot or cold, the sun is shining and I am happy with that.
I can't believe that Christmas is just a few days away. I wish that things were a bit cooler for this time of year, but I cannot complain overly much as we did get snow and that is a very rare event here for us!

My son Matthew took me out on Sunday to The Trail Of Lights. We were both very disappointed and the parking cost, and then we were so far away that we hired one of those pedicabs to take us up to the drop off point. That was expensive as well. $20.00 plus a tip and if we had known that the drop off point was as close as it was we would have just walked.
Once we got there we were stunned by the amount of people in the line. It went all the way to the street and it was 3 lines deep. We estimated about 2 thousand people. In another line was a zip line. Those with a zip pass didn't have to wait and they could go right in. The announcer said that it would be another hour before they would start letting people in and only 100 at a time. Well we decided to wait. I had my walker and I could sit but I knew Matt was getting tired as he had worked all day so I stood a bit and let him use my walker to sit. We didn't make much progress in the line but we did finally get out of the street.
I took some pictures but none of them turned out at all. I think that the lights were so bright and the perimeters were so pretty, at least what we could see. Then the announcer said that it would be about another 45 minutes to an hour before they opened our line again and I told Matthew that it would be closing before we could even get in and we should just go.
He didn't want to but finally after another half hour he said "I'm sorry mom but maybe we should go." I agreed. I was getting really tired by this time and could not believe how little the line had moved. So we started walking back to our car.
All was not lost tho. On the way back we stopped to chat with some people, then I spotted a couple with a gorgeous dog. He was a cross between a large poodle and a Cocker Spaniel.  He was decked out with a glow in the dark necklace of orange and just so sweet. I got to pet him and love on him and he liked that a lot. His name was Bubba. I wish my Cisco would behave so I can take him places.
We stopped at a shop that had hot chocolate and other drinks and food. I chose the Chai Tea Latte and it was sugar free but I could add splenda if I wanted so I said yes thank you and she used a special soy or rice milk instead of regular milk and no whipped cream. It turned out to be delicious. And I was able to have a treat and stick to my diet.
Plus I got a Christmas Hug from my Barista. I couldn't beat that in a million years. I told her I would be coming back and she said "I welcome you back." I told Matt on his next time off to let's go back and visit. He agreed. They were closing and we said that we would just go ahead and leave and she asked what it was that we needed and Matt told her just a drink for his mom and she said, "Oh if it is for your mom name your drink and she wouldn't even let us pay her for it.
Now what a girl. Her name was Chris and she had part of her hair in purple, red and green! Short on the sides and a long braid in the back of multiple colors. She had a lot of ear rings and piercings so she was definitely one of the Keep Austin Weird people but she was super nice. It isn't my style but I admire people that have the courage to express themselves.
From their it was just a short walk to our car. So even tho we didn't make it into the park, I still enjoyed the night.... at least until I got home.

About an hour after I got home, I got really sick to my stomach and had to run to the bathroom most of the night. Last night I ended up sleeping a lot off and on. Jonathan came home early as he now has the bug. I have my bedroom door shut. I will stay in my room so I am not exposed to it again.
I wonder where I picked it up at. I was at several different places that day. The grocery store, the library, the pharmacy and a couple of other places. So no telling where I came into contact with it but am better today.

I took Cisco out this morning and he was not a good boy. Their was a man and he went crazy trying to get to him. The man leaped up the stairs like a super hero. I told him, he is all bark but I understand why you would want to get away from him. He said I don't trust any dog, especially the ankle biters.

Oh and I was telling Miss Edna the other day how well Cisco has hung on to his teeth. Then after we hung up I decided to remake my bed and found one of his teeth in my bed, so I am guessing that he is going to start losing them now. Poor little guy. I will have his vet take a look in February when he goes in.

So this just about wraps it up for me. I have dishes to be done so I will close for now and wish everyone a great day and rest of the week... BB

Snow.... We Had Snow!!!

 Good Morning,
A Winter page made for a challenge last year. I didn't win but I never did but a couple of times in the entire 8 or 9 years I was at that group. But I love the snow. I know it is easy to get sick of tho.

It is early here for me. About 9:00 am. I am rather sleepy but the kids woke me up. They are having a quiet morning because due to the snow they don't have to go in until 10:00 today. We didn't get this much snow as in my page.  Bu enough that it covered the cars but most of it has melted but I had to go to the store so I was out in it. It was so pretty. I took pictures but of course it was too dark to really see the fat flakes. Funny that we had snow and lots of places didn't. Our friend Kevin in in Ohio and said he was waiting for it and it was a no show. The minute he moves.. we get snow lol.

I wont be on long as the light still bothers my eyes, but I really wanted to post. This surgery was difficult, but I got some good news. I don't have to go back for 8 weeks and if all goes well then I don't have to do it again for 12 weeks. Sounds good to me. Sure beats going every 3 weeks, or every month.

I cannot believe that it snowed. They said it was supposed to but I really didn't think that it would. Perhaps some flurries, but it really snowed. Big fat flakes falling from every direction and coming down hard. I was worried last night about Nathan getting home, but Matthew went and got him which was a relief since he does have experience in driving in the snow. Jonathan doesn't because we never see it here.

So I had the eye procedure done and came home and took a pain pill and went straight to bed. Some things don't work out as planned tho. Cisco thought that I was gone for ten years instead of a couple of hours. He had to be right at my side. Nothing would do until he was put in bed with me. He cuddled just long enough for me to drift off to sleep and then he wanted to play. He kept pawing me and giving me itty bitty bites on my ears and sticking his nose under my chin, doggie kisses all over and I tried to pull him down to cuddle but he was having none of that. He laid on top of me, put both paws on my shoulders and tried to lick the eye patch. He knew it shouldn't be there and sheesh he was heavy.

I rolled over onto my side and he was miffed so I found a toy and held it out to him. He played with it for about 2 seconds. I finally had Nathan to come and get him so I could just rest a minute because my eye was throbbing. I needed to lay still.

All the way to the clinic it was pouring rain. I was thankful that it stopped for a minute so I could get inside the clinic. On the way home, I of course had the eye patch on and my eyes were so dilated I couldn't see anything. I was searching for the car when Karyn came up to me and guided me to the front. She had moved the car closer for me. She didn't go in with me. There really is no room for her or anyone else in there with the doctor and 2 technicians so she said she would just stay in the car and listen to an audio book or something. They had a couple of premature babies in there and so they closed off one of the seating areas so the babies are less exposed to germs so she had no place to sit.
It will be a good thing when the new building is finished. Each time we go, we see more and more progress on it. They still have a lot of work to do on it tho.

Right now there is only one eye surgeon. They will have 2 possibly 3 at the new building. I told my doctor I don't want to change doctors and he said he was going to keep all of his patients. The other doctors will be moving to the new clinic and bring their own.  They are all of the same association anyway.

The trip home was super scary for me. Not being able to see properly, everything looked far away until Karyn went to stop at a light and it looked like she was running right into the car ahead of us. So she had me lay the seat back and just keep my eyes closed. That helped some but I got sick to my stomach just before we got home. A case of vertigo in a way. She was walking behind me on the way into our apartment. Good thing she was with me because I made a wrong turn and was going into someone else's apartment. She just guided me on into our own.

I didn't do anything yesterday. Last night my left eye was pretty good and I could see normally out of it. Before I went to bed I took the patch off so Jonathan could put the drops in my eyes and I left it off and kept the lights off. I had to go to the store so I beat Jonathan home. He doctored my eyes and I went to sleep. I didn't have a restful night tho. I tossed and turned most of the night.

My dinner did not agree with me. I had a salad and it tended to sit on top of my stomach all night. I think that I took my night meds too early and that is what did it but I was afraid I would fall asleep and forget to take them so I took them about an hour earlier than normal and I  don't think that my food had digested as well as it should have.

Karyn made me breakfast this morning but it wasn't appetizing to me so I hope that I can eat it in a little while. Then I am going back to bed.

I guess that I will close for now. I really don't have much more to say so until later on, you all have a wonderful Friday.... BB

Eye Injection Tomorrow

 Hello to everyone,

This is a scrap page I made of my sister's Sharon and Linda a while back. I am not sure why I don't have a picture of my sister Susanne or myself in it, but that is okay. I was going thru some of my memories from Facebook and so many pages I had forgotten about was in my folder so I saved them and put them in another folder. I have them all, they are just on my external hard drive and I had forgotten about them.

Dinner is in the ovens. Baby Back ribs, (Nathan brought them home from work) but there is no sauce to go with them. That's okay tho. We barely use it anyway. Green beans and sweet potatoes with ginger and cinnamon butter. I really wanted some kind of squash but that got eaten last week. So I have a half hour left before dinner. I do have to check my beans in about 10 minutes tho. I really miss my produce delivery. I will be looking for Spring to arrive for the Farmers Market club and I really enjoyed the months that I received the produce box.

So I spent some time downloading some new fonts for my scrap pages. I was hoping that I could use them here but so far it is not giving me the option to use any of them in this blog. I guess Blogger doesn't support any other than the one ones shown. I usually forget to put on the bold and italic but remembered to do so tonight.

I got a few hours of sleep today. I get myself worked up I think when I have to go to the doctor and especially since I have to go to have this eye injection done tomorrow it makes me nervous because I know how painful it is.. I swear I don't know what gives me the strength or the courage to go and sit in that chair and I thought the dentist was bad lol.

Since today was the last day that I could read, I took advantage of that and am almost finished with my book. I want to finish it before I have the eye thing done. If I fall asleep reading it tonight then it is okay because my appointment isn't until 2:30 tomorrow afternoon so I will still have the morning to finish it but I only have about 2 chapters left so I will probably finish it off tonight.

Cisco is glued to my side. He smells the ribs and thinks that he is going to get some. It is just a small rack but I wouldn't give him any anyway. He gets snippets of bacon but pork is really bad for a dog so poor guy will have to be content with some kibble with a bit of turkey in it tonight.

My sister and husband are on the water. They sat sail Sunday for Chile and Peru. I forgot to ask her what cruise line they were going on. They will be back in time for Christmas. They will be home on the night of the 21st.
Then January 4th, my sister Linda and Susie are leaving for a cruise to Mexico I think. Linda has never been on a cruise so she is excited to go. Susie's husband paid for the trip for my sister and he to get away but his dad has taken ill and he is afraid to leave for the 12 days so he transferred the ticket into my sister Linda's name. I am sure they will have a fantastic time.

We were planning on going to my sister's for Christmas but I think that Karyn is going to try and visit a friend in El Paso for Christmas. She is alone, her husband is deployed over seas and she is pregnant with a couple of little ones so she is feeling down so I told Karyn to go.  She really never gets to do to much so she should go if she can.

Well it is time for dinner. I have to put on the finishing touches, so take care and I will be back in a couple of days. Hopefully Saturday, or Sunday the latest. It just depends on how long the eyes take to heal.

Have a great end of the week and take care of yourself. BB

Sleepless Night In Austin

 A Beary Merry Christmas.....
A small mini kit by Patsy Berry, Bellimisa Designs....

 Good Morning,
Yes it is early morning and I have not been to bed. Well I have but it was no use so I got up and downloaded Patsy's little Mini and worked with it. Not my best work but I wanted to have a little play and so I did.

I did not accomplish not one thing yesterday. Well I did go thru some stacked up mail and did some tossing and organizing some important papers but that is about it.
I am all wired up about this eye injection tomorrow. It is so painful and I know that it is going to hurt like crap and I just am dreading it.

Also found out that a beautiful young girl that was the daughter of friends passed away night before yesterday. Her dad was my kids Coach in school. I remember when she was born. She was premature and spent a lot of time in the hospital but she was such a fighter and she grew up into a lovely young lady. She was a senior in high school. Just 18 years old. I don't know the details, but it was hear breaking to hear about her passing away.

Then my friend James has had a lot of ordeals lately. Skin cancer on his arm, he had surgery, then on his hand, and today on his neck. All in the space of a month. He is doing pretty well considering what he has been thru.

I have been thinking and praying for Jan, Kyra's husband. I know that she is going thru a terrible time emotionally and very worried about her Jan, as I am sure I would be too and his battle has been hard as well.

Patsy called today to tell me that one of the boys that her sons grew up with, his mom was hit by a car and is critical. So I have been doing a lot of praying and lighting candles.

And I cannot forget my friend Judy who's husband is in a bad way himself. Oddly I have noticed that Bruce has some of the same symptoms that Jan has had. He is a preacher and managed to host the annual church Christmas party yesterday.

I am ready for some good news now. And I am so tired. I want to sleep but every time I lay down I get comfortable and suddenly I am wide awake. But as I sit here in front of the computer my eyes are heavy and I am fighting to stay awake.

I have a slight cold or allergies and it feels like it is up in my head and chest. I don't want to make an appointment to see a doctor. I am sick of seeing them. But this headache I have developed has really got me in a tailspin. I should take some Tylenol but it makes me sick to my stomach so it is not something I want to do but looks like I am going to have to if I want some relief and sleep.

Boy this post is a sad one. So sorry for that. I just needed to vent a bit I guess. Venting is good for us but boring for my readers I am sure.
So I will close this for now, take some Tylenol and lay back down.... Have a wonderful day to all.... BB
